Updated/New Wallpapers

Updated the Ultimate Spider-Man wallpapers with the new site, and made 1280×1024 pix versions. Also made 1280 versions of both Binary People wallpapers.

Header image problems

Seems that whatever filesize/quality your header is WordPress will lower its quality. I posted at the forum to see if there is a solution to this.

Binary People wallpapers

New wallpapers up. Simple text on a black bg reads: ‘There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don’t.’

The binary code in the background is the same text… in binary.

Two versions: one b/w and the other green text on a black bg for a Matrix-like feel (I know it’s out of style, but it couldn’t be helped).

Once i manage to make a better looking version of the header (which should be an easy fix), I’ll do 1280×1024 versions of the wallpapers already posted and also update the current ones with this site in the credit line.

If not tomorrow, they’ll be up the day after.

Site header (finally)

At last, I got the header to work.

Not satisfied with the quality of it though, I guess wordpress.com reduces file quality/size of the images used as headers. Or maybe I botched something, dunno. There is probably some size limit to adhere to, but I don’t know what it is.

Gonna give it a few more tries to see if I can get it better.

Update: It seems header pics need to be <15kB to work. I will have to manually reduce the file size (quality) in order to get a better looking picture than the current one.

Trouble with header

The header is all done, just having problems displaying it for some reason. I hope this will be resolved soon.

Header for the site (update)

Everything is done, just tweaking the logo. I will run a poll on the #Comic-Scans forums under Open Discussion to see which version is best and I’ll upload it tomorrow.

I’m currently working on a header for the site, just trying to figure out what to do with the logo (ie, having trouble designing it), and what to put in that little descriptive text underneath the title.

Should be done tomorrow at the latest.

Can’t get to the computer

My brother has been hogging the computer lately, so I haven’t been able to do any work.

On the few occasions I was able to sit down and do something, I had absolutely no ideas and inspiration. Hopefully I can get back to doing something soon.
